Finished up forming the patio and apron at my daughters place. Put this arc on the end of the patio. The formed area between the sidewalk and patio we did to put pavers between them just to have a little separation between the two.
This is the apron off the front of the garage, the red lines are where the trench drain is going. So all that is left is to set the trench drain and put in the mesh and rebar. Iam making it 3-4" deeper where it meets the concrete floor that's where the bar will go . On the patio you can see the deeper trench towards the outside form that's where the bar will go there. The reason for this is we are putting a pergula up next year and that's where the posts will sit.

My daughter was out watering here flowers the other night when she heard a loud blast , she turned around and there was a hot air balloon right across the rd. not that on common around her there is a guy in the next town over that gives rides in them and they go over letchworth state park and go over the gorge and falls. What she didn't know was a girl she graduated with and her boyfriend were in the balloon and shot these pics for her of her place.

Well finally got the last part of the concrete poured at my daughters place . Pored the apron in front of the garage and a 8' patio alongside the garage . Next spring a pergula is going to be built on the patio . Getting it finished off.
Apron in front of the garage with two drains. Patio.
View from the other end of the patio. The space between the sidewalk and patio is going to have tumbled pavers put in it , just to seperate the two.

Here are some more pics from my daughters , my daughter in law to be brought down a pool skimmer for us to clean up some weeds Along the edge of the pond . It worked great and it's just amazing what you can find in a gob of snot grass if you look!
We put 80+ some crabs in last summer and I was worried they didn't make it thru the winter because we haven't seen any . Not worried any longer.
And proof that they spawned.
We also threw in some perch bugs we caught while getting the crabs and they also hatched out .
So far I have counted three different types of frogs and a ton of toads .
We put in a half dozen or so bluegills and they also spawned.
Not sure what this critter is but it's pretty cool.
