I made my weekly delivery of eggs to a nice high end restaurant in my town. Beside eggs, I've sold them whole hogs, fresh hams, chickens and this winter lots of ground pork. The chefs enjoy showing off their creations with the local sourced products to the growers. Today I got my first taste of a Scotch egg. A poached egg inside a football shaped sausage that is rolled in flour and other fancy stuff and broiled I believe. damn it was tasty, even better than my old fried eggs and sausage. $16. a pop also.
