boss is moving offices around the different buildings, and when I got back to the shop this was sitting out front. I asked him what it was doing out there and he said waiting for someone to take it.
needs a little cleaning up and I think I will turn it into my carving bench in the shop. not a bad score for free. I did some research on these when I got home and people are fixing them up and selling for a couple grand. my jaw dropped.
gonna get rid of the glass and tin foil on top and see whats going on underneath. also found some cool little odds and ends jammed behind the drawers. maps from the 70s of the local area, a bunch of old hand written receipts from long since gone mechanic shops local building supply stores and an oil company, and an old lead "mechanical" pencil with us government property stamped in it.
maybe some of you ohio boys will remember or get a kick outta this manufacturers plate. thing is all heavy metal too, and merican, none of that cheap crap like today.
