well frogging did not go good my partner was more of a handycap but id take that handy cap any nite becouse it was my 6 year old girl
I hear you on that! My handycap is my 9 year old boy....he's getting better and I wouldn't have it any other way. Gotta get the kids outdoors and away from the electronics so that their lives aren't consumed as some of us adults are.
I got these last night.....1 really nice big one and a few others. The biggest one was full of eggs so evidently there will be good stock for future. Do frogs lay eggs more than once per season? The place I am going has some open water with a ton of moss and thick areas of cattails and grass, the biggest ones must be in that thick stuff, I have been unable to find them and the batteries in my head lamp were dying, may try again tonight.

Here is last nights frogs. I just cant seem to find any big ones.
I love knives, that said I find more and more that for preparing small game for the table shears work better for me than knives. I can snip skin without spilling entrails, and they cut through joints in bone beautifully. Still need knives to bone out meat but shears get me through 90% of the job.
