I recently came across a microwave that was torn apart at work. I noticed a small electric motor on the bottom of it. So naturally the hoarder in me grabbed it and took it. Why? I didn't have a clue. When I looked at it, it was 120V. Sweet no transformer needed. It is a 6 RPM motor. after a little research, these little motors apparently have a ton of torque. Then it hit me, I could use it to make a rotisserie. I'm thinking of making something that I could use in the grill, smoker or over a fire.
Has anyone ever made one? Or does anyone have any other ideas what a little motor like this could be good for? I also thought of maybe a spinning squirrel feeder just for kicks.
