Along with other non-food storage items, I realized other than a small handful of items in the medicine cabinet, I really didn't have much tucked away in the way of first aid. It's one thing I've given some serious attention to over the past 6 months. When I buy extra items for my storage area, I always pick up an extra pack of banages, gauze, or other first aid items. I'd rather have a good stock pile of items, then not enough ;D
This is an area in my preparedness that I'm severely lacking. I'm well stocked with propane, firewood, alternate methods of cooking, heating and lighting but never gave this a thought but will give it some attention now. Having bandages and stuff on hand when YOU NEED THEM is priceless.

Just a quick tip to is grab a few tubes of CRAZY GLUE, works great for closing up quick wounds, Just pinch it together and stick a dab on the top works just as well as stitches and fairly easy and painless to do yerself.
