My Grand mother passed away about a month ago, so the we are cleaning out the house she had up north. In the garage we found this. I cleaned it up today blow the motor out and plugged it in. The wringer still works and the agitator works great. This has been sitting in the garage for as long as I can remember and I'm 45 years old. Everything that I can find says it is from the 1930's that 84 years old and still works. Man they really now how to build them.

Nice find, brings back memories. My Grammy made my Grampy go to Montgomery Wards (Monkey wards as she called it)and buy a spare wringer washer when they closed "cause she ain't gonna learn about them new new fancy machines". This was the late 70's or early 80's,but she was still not having any of it. It was never used before her death, it was covered and did not even have dust on it.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother. It amazes me how well things were built back then and still work today, yet I'm lucky if things I buy now adays last me a year. That thing is in crazy good condition wow! Thanks for sharing!
