So I started finishing the table today,it's going to take some time, but I will try and take you thru it,the pics above is when I started. The next pic is the top, I use a stain conditioner on these type of projects , the conditioner absorbs into the wood , this kinda evens out the grain , with this step your finish takes on a nice even look with out the dark and light spots caused by stains on the wood. You can see the darker area is where I put conditioner on it the light is without. This pic is with the stain on, I let it sit for sometime and didn't really wipe any off because I want the darker look,I just evened it out. This is one of two extension leafs. These are the legs, you can see the ones in the back before painting,I'm painting them white then will tone it down a little with the same stain , then distress then to make them appear old.
Tomorrow I will try and get the legs on and standing up to get a better picture.

very nice work. I love wood work projets. My problem is I have tomany projects going at once can never seem to just start and finish one. That's My -(ADD)working agenst me. LOL I'm working on fixing my tractor froks,my disc harrow, streching boards, man cave, new lights in trapping shed, getting my boat cleaned up and ready to sell, along with my jeep. Plus my buddy ahs work he wants me today. That not including the honey due list inside the house.
Trapping and Hunting is not a matter of life or death its much more important then that.
