I have not done much this year. But need to break some ground every year, it is good for the Soul. I put in 36 boccoli plants and had to cut the heads this week before they flowered. I have forty potato plants in, half weeded.Need to finish cleaning them up somehow before the weekend. I really do best just trading and getting leftover stuff from the market Saturdays.

Taters are still doing ok, weeded a few times and have been giving them some water too. Hugger helped/pushed me to get the strawberries plant I have had in the frig for too long. Got her on the tractor for final tilling and she shaped the rows. We planted the two hundred plants in no time. Need rain or I will have to start to water. After I did eve chores, I plowed a deep row, put two spreader loads of compost down the row before planting 50 asparagus roots and did a light cover over. I will add more compost as the roots start to pop out. Strawberries will get plenty down the rows asap.
